What It Takes to Earn This Award

Each year, Service Nation honors one woman whose leadership and service in residential contracting stand out across the industry. Since 2014, the award has been presented to company founders and industry mentors. It recognizes women who go well beyond their job descriptions to uplift those around them.

This year, the field is wider than ever. Nominations spanned women across the contracting industry, including leaders outside the Service Nation community.

Meet the Women on This Year’s Ballot

Alexy Rollins, Loyalty Plumbing and Air

Alexy Rollins co-founded Loyalty Plumbing and Air in Las Vegas with her husband, Nick, in 2022. She entered the trades as an entrepreneur. She saw an opportunity to change how a home service company presents itself and treats its customers in an industry long dominated by men. Since then, Loyalty has won a Best of Las Vegas award and recorded its first $1 million revenue month. Plumbing & Mechanical also named Rollins a 2026 Next Gen All-Star.

Ask her what makes her proudest, and she’ll point to her people.

“Revenue and company milestones are exciting, but seeing an employee buy a home, support their family, grow into a leadership role, or accomplish something they once thought impossible means more to me.”

When she isn’t running the business, Rollins leads the Golden Retriever Club of Southern Nevada, which she founded. Her love for the breed led her to choose a Golden, Buddy, as Loyalty’s mascot.

Jenn Shue, Barnaby Heating & Air

Jenn Shue began her HVAC career as a customer service representative, handling phone calls and filing paperwork. With two decades in the industry, she advanced to General Manager. She now brings that experience to Barnaby Heating & Air in Rowlett, Texas.

Shue shares what she’s learned with other contractors, including how to build KPIs that motivate technicians and why documenting processes is worth the effort. Outside her company, she serves as the Texas chapter lead for Women in Plumbing & Piping, helping connect and support women building careers in the trades.

Jessica Young, Young Plumbing Services

Jessica Young joined Young Plumbing Services in 2020, three years after her husband, Doug, a master plumber, launched the company in Anderson, South Carolina. Today, she co-owns the business and oversees operations, focusing on growth and team development. Over the past year, the company expanded from four service trucks to nearly ten, and it remains locally owned. That independence is important to her:

“We’re still 100% local and family-owned, so when people spend their money with us, it stays in the community.”

Young also leads the South Carolina chapter of Women in Plumbing & Piping and mentors with Service Nation, all while she and Doug raise their five children.

Past Winners Set the Bar High

Recent Women of the Year: Lori Tschohl (2022), Renee Lucas (2023), Jennifer Rose (2024), and Janeen Norquist (2025). All remain active in the Service Nation Community.

Norquist co-founded Just In Time Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing Services in Sandwich, Illinois. She has opened doors for women in the trades through her work with Women in HVACR and Service Nation. When she was named at Service World Expo 2025, she described the honor as a handoff:

“Every step I take is built on lessons and encouragement from others. Now it’s my turn to help open doors for those still finding their path.”

The same spirit of paying it forward appears in every name on this year’s ballot.

Cast Your Vote By October 6

Voting is open to everyone in the industry. Choose the finalist whose leadership has made the biggest difference in your corner of the trades, and vote before the ballot closes on October 6.
